You are almost certainly already paying for telematics. The problem is not that the trucks are untracked, it is that the tracking screen answers "where" and stops there, so a dispatcher still has to hold the order, the driver's hours and the customer's expectation in their head.

Markers point the way the truck is pointing and take their colour from the status of the stop it is running to, so a fleet of eighty is readable at a glance rather than a cloud of identical pins. Clicking one opens the order behind it: the stop sequence, the distance and time left to the next stop, and the arrival time in the local time of the place it is arriving at.

Tracking that knows what the truck is supposed to be doing.

A position on its own is trivia. The same position, next to the order it belongs to, is an answer. Because the tracking feed and the dispatch board are the same system, arrival at a stop proposes a status change, fuel drops raise theft alerts against the right vehicle, and the estimated arrival on the customer's link is the one the dispatcher is looking at.

The failure mode that costs money is not an outage, it is an outage nobody noticed. If the telematics connection goes stale or starts erroring, a banner says so on the map rather than leaving a dispatcher to trust a position that stopped updating forty minutes ago.

Do we have to change the trackers in our trucks?
No. VIGILFleet reads your existing devices through your telematics provider's API. Nothing is uninstalled, nothing new goes into the cabs, and your current tracking keeps running exactly as it does today.
How often is the position updated?
Every minute, per company, through a scheduled poll. Fuel level, odometer and tachograph driver data arrive on the same cycle.
Which telematics provider do you support?
Wialon is live today and is what most of our fleets run. If you are on a different platform, tell us which one on the call: the integration is an API adapter, not a rebuild.
Can drivers see the route on their phone?
Yes. The driver app carries the route with voice guidance in eight languages, plus speed camera warnings and a driving mode that activates on its own when the truck is moving.
